This and That

Here it is Wednesday, the tree is down, now just get the wrapping paper, ribbons and bows put away. The crazy weather is almost back to normal, it's 51 degrees at 7 am, and rainy. I did see some blueish sky(shocker) this am, anyone from Oregon and Washington knows what I mean about the blue sky and rain, not common. When it rains here it is cloudy and gray! A cheery picture for the day. Of course a picture of the grandson helping grandpa putting a shelf together. Jack is getting ready to measure the height for the shelf. He is such a smart 18 month "Toddler", must have gotten it from my "jeans" OK from his momma and daddy and grandpa genes. We went shopping last Wednesday to Home Depot and Lowe's. Oh Jack was putting on the cuteness, batting those gorgeous long lashes, smiling at all the women there, we had more service than needed. Started to clean the dining room table, so I can sew, the above mentioned Xmas stuff needed to go, so I got sidetrack but I cleaned it. Got out some fabric for the back of a quilt, going to do the squares like Bonnie Hunter at www.quiltville.com/ Since this will be a colorful quilt might as well have a colorful back. I want to finish this quilt to start the New Year cheerful, than I have a spring looking one to finish, than work on a purple one for my oldest Lori Ann. Than ...... this and that :-) if I get 2 finished I will allow myself a new design. just have to hide it from my girls, I only have about 50 ufo's.
